Okay, this look was originally meant to be for St. Patrick’s Day. Patrick’s Day, but I didn’t make it until St. Patrick’s Day. As I mentioned before, I broke my nail on March 3rd and that’s when I let it grow. On March 11, I got really sick. So it wasn’t until March 17 that I finally did my nails for real. Such confusion.
So my brain thought it was like an abstract rainbow in the sky. After the rain, you see those prismatic glints in the puddles, so that’s what I was thinking.
I used colors from the KBShimmer Sea-ing is Believing collection:
- Base: KBShimmer What a Pearl Wants
- Blue: KBShimmer Current Affairs
- Purple: KBShimmer Get off my tail
- Green: KBShimmer Comes in waves
- Pink: KBShimmer wearing Krill
- White: KBShimmer white here white now
- Stamping plate: UC 2-03
This is a very simple nail art. I did a base color and let it dry for a few minutes before adding waves with a nail art brush. I then let it dry for a few minutes before adding the cloud and star details for stamping. This is such a whimsical and fun look.
