Autumnal Sunflower Nail Art

Contains press samples

So I totally meant to post this before Halloween at the beginning of October and just time passed by. Then because of Halloween, I was only posting nail art so I saved this one for November. When I wore it, I was completely in love with this look. And now looking back at it, I love it even more. What do you think?

So this was inspired by all the gorgeous sunflower fields I had seen in September and early October. I absolutely love sunflowers because they are just so happy. I love the idea that they move to face where the sun is throughout the day, chasing that summer warmth. I pulled out one of my new nail polishes and got to town.

Here are the colors! There were lots but hopefully this helps.

  • Bases: Duri Sting Like a Bee, OPI Penny Loafer Lane, OPI It’s a Piazza Cake
  • Browns: Jessica Cosmetics Me, U & Hennessy, Jessica Cosmetics Mad for Madison
  • Yellows: Morgan Taylor Glow Like a Star, Duri Cosmetic Sting Like a Bee
  • Greens: Jessica Cosmetics Boho Chic, OPI This Isn’t Greenland
  • Oranges: Dare to Wear Le Chat Felicity, OPI Have Your Panettone and Eat It Too, OPI Penny Loafer Lane, OPI It’s a Piazza Cake, Jessica Cosmetics Woody.

Basically, I wanted to use my brand new OPI polish as soon as I bought it and that is exactly what I did. I absolutely love the colors in this look and I’m actually planning another autumn nail art as I write this post that will incorporate many of the colors that you see here.

Of course I had to matte this. I just love how this came out. There’s something different yellow, mustard, orange, and brick red colors that just makes me so happy. I really love how this nail art looked both shiny and with matte topcoat and so that is why I’m with both. Also, when I matte something, it’s like two in one nail art. It forms a brand new personality.

The next batch of photos is this nail part with indoor lighting both matte and shiny. I forgot that I had made so many pictures but didn’t feel like editing it down a month later because I love this look so much so enjoy.

Well, this was way too many photos but I hope you enjoyed it. Because apparently I did!

Products in the post were provided for honest review.
